Willie Glover, Sr. , 81, of Gretna, FL departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Tallahassee, FL. Willie was educated in the public schools of Gadsden and Jackson Counties. He accepted Christ at an early age, a devoted Christian. Willie was an active and faithful member of Fountain Head A.M.E. Church, Mt. Pleasant, FL, where he served as Steward Pro Tem and Class Leader.
Funeral serves will be 11am, Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Friendship A.M.E. Church, Chattahoochee, FL with burial at the St. Paul PB Church Cemetery, Gretna, FL. Visitation will be 3:00pm - 7:00pm, Friday, February 10, 2023 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons; Willie Glover, Jr. of Quincy, FL and Dennis Williams (Ednita) of Orlando, FL; four sisters, Alseen Glover Bennet of Orlando, FL, Minister Leatha Glover Williams of New Jersey, Edna Glover Ash of Quincy, FL, and Vera Glover Austin (Bob) of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Talia Glover Favors (Eli) of Midway, FL, Marcus Glover of Quincy, FL, Ashley Glover of Gainesville, FL, Briah Williams of Orlando, FL, Jassman Redding of Orlando, FL, and Janaih Morgan of Orlando, FL; son-in-law, Lynn Morgan of Orlando, FL; great-grandchildren, Markayla Glover, Trey Glover, Eli Favors III,and Luis Meza,Jr. ; a sister-in-law, Dr. Maeliza Alls Glover of Orlando, FL, and a host of other relatives and friends.
