William Kenneth Houston, 67, of Quincy, FL, transitioned from this earthly life on Friday, October 11, 2024, in Tallahassee, FL.
A lifelong resident of Quincy, William accepted Christ at an early age and served faithfully at St. Hebron AME Church in Quincy, FL. He was educated in the Gadsden County School System and enjoyed a long career as a truck driver before retiring. He was also a proud member of Midway Lodge #434 Brother IFAMMOES and had a passion for fishing.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at St. Hebron AME Church, with interment following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, FL.
William leaves behind a son, Marquise Houston of Quincy, FL; his mother, Minnie L. Houston of Quincy, FL; two sisters, Joyce H. Willis and Senoeia “Faye” Lewis, both of Quincy, FL; six grandchildren, and a host of loving relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
