Mrs. Vikki Leshawn Johnson of Union City, GA, passed October 14, 2025.  The Lord truly blessed this world with Vikki Leshawn Johnson. She was born on December 29, 1975, in Tampa, Florida, to Leonard and Carolyn Weaver.  She was baptized at a young age and leaned on her faith to guide her throughout her life. While living in Quincy, Florida, she was a member of Saint James African Methodist Episcopal Church. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia, she became a devoted member of Crossroads Church South Fulton. 

Vikki was educated in the public school systems in Tampa, Florida, and Quincy, Florida. She graduated from James A. Shanks High School in 1993. She furthered her education at Tallahassee Community College and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.  Vikki earned a bachelor’s degree from Flagler College and a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Vikki’s professional life included working at Publix and Wells Fargo. 

Vikki was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn Powell Weaver Simon and Leonard Benjamin Weaver, and her sister Lenora Weaver Greene. 

Vikki leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Damon Johnson; her son, the light of her life, Benjamin A. Johnson; her sisters, Candice (Horace) Henry and Ella Weaver; her aunts and uncles, Thelma and Alexander Powell, both deceased, Barbara (James, deceased) Haynes, William (Willie Rose) Powell III, Gwendolyn Powell (Willie, deceased) Robinson, Melinda R. (Garrett, Sr., deceased) Powell, Pauline J. (Charles Sr., deceased) Powell, Eugene (Mary Anne, deceased) Boglin,  Anthony (Michele) Powell, Sr., Sterling (Rose Anne) Powell. Also, cherishing her memory are her niece, grandnephew, cousins, and friends.
