Sylvester Lee, 72, of Mt. Pleasant, FL, peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Midway, FL.
A native of Greensboro, FL, Sylvester was educated in the Gadsden County Public School System and graduated from Greensboro High School. He bravely served his country as a United States Marine, including a tour in Vietnam. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to public service as a Forensic Unit Supervisor until retirement.
A proud member of VFW Post #12054, Sylvester remained active in veterans' affairs. He was also known for his love of FSU football, his passion for fishing, and the joy he found in spending time with his family.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Old Bethel AME Church in Quincy, FL with burial at Sunnyvale Cemetery, Quincy, FL. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, FL.
Cherishing his memory are his three devoted children: Adaryll Lee (Cloteal) of Apopka, FL, Marcus Lee of Mt. Pleasant, FL, and Keyondio Lee of Midway, FL; three beloved grandchildren: Terrance Chisolm, Jr. and Darnelius J. Holmes, both of Midway, FL, and Kyle Bush of Apopka, FL; one precious great-grandson, Tru Sincere of Houston, TX; two loving brothers: Willie Lee (Carrie) of Lake Park, GA, and Jerry Lee (Linda) of Quincy, FL; one devoted sister, Lillie Lee of Quincy, FL; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
