Sheila Cassandra Dixon, 67, of Tallahassee, Florida, peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Born on January 3, 1959, in Quincy, Florida, Sheila lived a life characterized by dedication, service, and love for her family and community. Sheila received her education at James A. Shanks High School and later pursued a distinguished career with the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, where she faithfully served until her retirement. Throughout her career, she was known for her professionalism, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sheila enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She found joy in cooking delicious meals, tending to her garden, and spending time watching programs on the History Channel. Her warm spirit, wisdom, and caring nature made her a cherished presence among family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Clettris U. Bradwell of Houston, TX; three sisters, Gwendolyn Bradwell of Havana, FL, Beverly Dixon of Quincy, FL, and Patricia Porter of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Garrett Dixon and Ronald Dixon - both of Quincy,FL; along with a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by her presence.
Though her earthly journey has ended, Sheila's legacy of love, resilience, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be treasured, and her impact will not be forgotten.
