Sarah Ann Reese, 78, of Gretna, FL, peacefully departed this earthly life on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Tallahassee, FL.

A native of Gadsden County, she confessed Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and served faithfully at St. Stephens Primitive Baptist Church in Gretna, FL. Sarah will be fondly remembered for her warm smile, impeccable sense of style, and her friendly, lovable spirit. She never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at St. Stephens P.B. Church, Gretna, FL.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Charles Edward Reese of Gretna, FL; two children, Shanta N. Reese of Gretna, FL, and Johnny Dixon (Cathy) of Midway, FL; one sister, Doretha White of Midway, FL; 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
