Salexia Chante Powell

Salexia C. Powell, age 32, of Tallahassee, Florida, transitioned from this life on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, in Tallahassee. From a young age, Salexia accepted Christ and was a devoted member of First Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church. She was known for her vibrant spirit and had a radiant presence that brightened every room she entered.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at First Elizabeth M.B. Church in Quincy, Florida. She will be laid to rest at Sunnyvale Cemetery in Quincy. A public visitation will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving father, Wallace Powell; seven siblings – Tenesia Clark, Sheneka Young, Teriel Young, Katrice Gleason, Quadedra Powell, Shenekia Brown, and Quintez H.; 25 devoted aunts and uncles; and a host of other cherished relatives and friends.
