Arriving as a bundle of joy to the late Louis and Alberta Wilder on September 21, 1937, Rosetta grew up in the May Farm area and later moved to the Saint Hebron community in a Christian and loving home. She attended the public schools of Gadsden County and graduated from Carter Parramore High School.
Rosetta was converted and accepted Christ at an early age. She joined St. Hebron AME Church and continued her spiritual life where she served as an usher, stewardess, and missionary.
Rosetta had a great love for her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, five children – Genolea Crews (James), Tallahassee; Bobby Shaw (Mary), Havana; Joetta Shaw, Juan Kirkland (Bertha), Shelanda Shaw, all of Quincy. Five grandchildren – Aleceia Crews, Shayla Shaw Williams (Kelvin), Georgia; Kelly Smith Kirkland, DeFuniak Springs; Cashedra Willis and Kaleb Shaw of Quincy. Two preceded her in death Quinton and Charles Williams; ten great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
