Mr. Ronald Sharp, age 70, of Quincy, Florida, departed this earthly life on March 19, 2026.
Mr. Sharp was born on May 24, 1955, in Quincy, Florida, where he was also a lifelong resident. He was a faithful member of First Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained committed to his faith and community.
He received his education at James A. Shanks High School and later dedicated many years of service to the Quincy Recreation Department, where he made a lasting impact through his work and interactions with others.
Ronald was known for his kind spirit and simple joys in life. He enjoyed drawing and swimming, and those who knew him will remember his quiet strength and warm presence.
He leaves to cherish his memory two loving daughters, Lashadra Sharp and Shalandria Sharp, both of Quincy, Florida; four sisters, Delores Sharp, Betty Ann Sharp Neal of Quincy, Florida, Gloria Sharp Odgen of Tallahassee, Florida, and Cynthia Dilworth Fields of Tallahassee, Florida; two brothers, Glenn Dilworth of Quincy, Florida and Michael Dilworth of Tallahassee, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at First Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Quincy, Florida.
Interment will follow at Sunnyvale Cemetery in Quincy, Florida.
