Ozetta Davis, 71, of Quincy, Florida departed this earthly life Sunday, July 9, 2023, in Tallahassee, Florida. Born July 11, 1951, Ozetta had a passion for teaching and helping others. Upon obtaining her bachelor's degree in elementary education, Ozetta worked as an elementary teacher for the Gadsden County School District until her retirement. She loved attending church, teaching children, and loving her kids. Services will be 11am, Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Blessed Hope M.B. Church, Quincy, FL with burial at the St. John AME Church cemetery. Visitation will be 3pm – 7pm, Friday, July 21, 2023 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy.
Ozetta was dearly loved by many and leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Allen Davis, Torrey Davis, and Javad Davis, all of Quincy, FL; two brothers, Edward Siler of Enterprise, AL and Elmer Brundige of Orlando, FL; three sisters, Runella Wood of Quincy, FL, Mae Joyce Hillard of Hartford, AL, and Loretta Stevens of Jacksonville, FL; two granddaughters, Tori Tiana Davis and Auroa Marley Davis, both of Quincy, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
