Ola Mae Davis, 97, of Quincy, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at home in Quincy.
She served faithfully at First Elizabeth Missionary Baptist, Quincy, as a member of the mother board
and delegate to conventions of the Bethlehem Baptist Association. A pillar of the community, she
was the oldest member of First Elizabeth and was known as the “dixie cup lady.” Services will be
11:00 am, Saturday, October 15, 2022 at First Elizabeth M.B. Church, 1030 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Quincy.
Viewing will be 3-7 pm, Friday, October 14, 2022 at Bradwell Mortuary.
Surviving family includes her sons, Reverend James E. Davis, St Petersburg, FL, Elder Charlie C.
Davis (Flora), Tallahassee, FL, Clarence A. Davis, Quincy, FL; daughters, Vida R. Davis,
Tallahassee, FL, Emma D. Dorsey(James), Tallahassee, FL, and Sharon Davis, Quincy, FL; brothers
Johnny B. Green and Joseph Green (Georgia), both of Enterprise, AL, and Kirby Hall (Bernice),
Clio, AL; sisters, Laddie C. Greenwood, Enterprise, AL, Gurlena Hall and Ruby Marie Hall Jackson,
both of Clio, AL, and Mary Hall Kinsey (Emery), Syracuse, NY; and a host of grandchildren, great
grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
