Ned Burgess, Jr., 47, of Quincy, Florida, transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, January 20, 2025, at his home in Quincy. He was an accomplished professional, serving as Operating Partner and Founding/Managing Partner of N8 Solutions, Inc., as well as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder.

At an early age, Ned Jr. joined New Bethel AME Church in Quincy, Florida, where his faith journey began. He was educated in the Gadsden County School System and graduated in 1996 from James A. Shanks High School. Ned Jr. pursued higher education at Johnson C. Smith University and the University of North Carolina (UNC) in Charlotte, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at New Bethel AME Church in Quincy, Florida. Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery.

Ned Jr.'s cherished memories will live on through his family: his son, Ned Burgess, III; his daughter, India Ke’Mora Burgess; his beloved granddaughter, Namaari; his devoted mother, Angela Jenkins Burgess; and his three sisters, Shameka Burgess Hampton (Albert), Nedrika Burgess, and Trinity Burgess. He is also survived by his aunt, Jeanette Roberts; two great-aunts, Archie Mae Carter and Earnestine Jenkins; and one great-great-aunt, Jerilyn Henry. He will be deeply missed by his godbrother, Jeffrey Jackson; seven nieces; five nephews; one bonus nephew; a host of loving cousins spanning generations; the Easter Quincy community; classmates; and numerous sorrowing friends.

Ned Jr.’s life and legacy will forever be remembered and celebrated by all who knew and loved him.
