Melvin Wilcoxson, 71, of Havana, FL, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in Tallahassee, FL. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church in Havana, FL. Melvin was a skilled and dedicated handyman before retiring.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church in Havana, FL with burial at St. James Church Cemetery, Havana, FL. Visitation will be held 3:00pm - 6:00pm Friday, December 20, 2024 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL. 

Melvin leaves to cherish his memory 11 beloved siblings: Frank Allen (Georgia) of Newnan, GA; Harry Wilcoxson of Havana, FL; Larry Wilcoxson of Havana, FL; Margaret Smith (Herman) of Havana, FL; Raymond Wilcoxson, Jr. (Gloria) of Havana, FL; Jacquelyn Wilcoxson of Havana, FL; Shirley Jiles Rogers of Quincy, FL; Dessa Francis (John) of Boise, ID; Hezekiah Wilcoxson of Tallahassee, FL; Cheryl Delevoe of Havana, FL; and Gwendolyn Wilcoxson of Tallahassee, FL. He is also survived by a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Melvin will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
