Ms. Mary Lizzie Cobb was born on November 13, 1935, to the late George and Ellen Byrd. She was married to the late Charlie Cobb and to their union, a son was born, the late Charles Edward Cobb.

Ms. Cobb attended the public schools of Gadsden County School and worked as a Sharecropper. She was a faithful member of Blessed Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where she offered her gifts in the Choir and Kitchen Ministries.
Ms. Cobb leaves to cherish memories to a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be remembered as a person who was private and quiet in spirit.
