Marthene Veneszee, 86,  of Tallahassee, FL departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Tallahassee, FL. Funeral services will be 11am, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Bradwell Memorial Chapel, Quincy, FL, with burial at Elizabeth AME Church Cemetery, Chattahoochee, FL. Visitation will be 3pm – 6pm , Friday, February 2, 2024 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL.

Marthene was educated in the Gadsden County Public Schools. She worshipped at Jehovah Witness/Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. She loved the Lord and spending time with her friends & love ones, and fishing.

Marthene was preceded in death by her parents, Alton Sr. & Daisy Veneszee and two brothers, Alton Veneszee, Jr and O.D. Veneszee,Sr.

 She leaves to cherish her memories a sister- Queen Esther James of Tallahassee, FL; nieces and nephews – Donald Johnson of Tallahassee, FL, Vernon Veneszee of Tallahassee, FL, Oscar Veneszee Jr. of Manassas, VA, Wanda Veneszee of Quincy, FL, Wytonia Veneszee of Quincy, FL, Palmyra Veneszee Wood Williams of Tallahassee, FL; a sister-in-law – Ruby Veneszee of Quincy, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
