Mamie Derico Salters, 79, of Havana, Florida passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 in at her
home in Havana. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, she had made her home in Havana. Mamie was
a member of Old Jerusalem MB Church, Havana. She was a loving, god-fearing woman who
enjoyed sharing whatever she had with others. Services will be 11:00 am, Friday, September 24,
2021 at Havana Northside High School Cafeteria, Havana. Viewing will be from 3pm to 6pm,
Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy.
Surviving family includes her sons, Ronald Swain, Clifton Salters, Juan Salters, Sr. (Lashanda) and
Derrikas Salters, all of Havana; daughters, Fanita Salters and Nadia Salters, both of Havana; sisters,
Dorothy Bagely and Lucille McBride (Curtis), both of Havana; and brothers, Robert Derico
(Laverne), Jesse Derico (Diane), Phillip Derico (Faristine), and Johnny Derico (Teresa), all of
Havana; uncle, Levan Derico; aunt, Willie Mae Braswell; sister-in-law, Eva Mae Derico; 13
grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
