A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Pine Bloom M.B. Church in Greensboro, FL, with burial at Greensboro Community Cemetery in Greensboro, FL. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, FL.

She leaves to cherish her memory five children: Tisher Akins of Greensboro, FL; Ronnie Akins (Betty) of Gretna, FL; Cynthia Akins-Gee of Greensboro, FL; Damon Akins (Jennifer) of Tallahassee, FL; and Jerry Akins (Debra) of Quincy, FL; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
