Louise Berkins, 88, of Tallahassee, FL, transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, April 20, 2025, in Tallahassee, FL.

A native of Greensboro, FL, she was educated in the Gadsden County public school system and later began her career at Niagara Wires. Louise confessed Christ at an early age and served faithfully at Pine Bloom Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the church choir and was a dedicated member of the Mothers’ Board.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Pine Bloom M.B. Church in Greensboro, FL, with interment to follow at Greensboro Community Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, FL.

She leaves to cherish her memory four children: Linda McMillon of Tallahassee, FL; Vernessa McMillon of Midway, FL; Cordell McMillon of Tallahassee, FL; and Tiffane McMillon of Quincy, FL; two sisters: Betty Dukes of Norristown, PA, and Carleathes Berkins of Johnstown, PA; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
