The Obituary
Leroy Williams was born September 16, 1944 to the late Plinie James and Rhoda Williams of Greenville, Florida.
Leroy was employed by Hicks Creek Logging until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, sitting on the porch. He loved going on car rides with his daughter Destiny. He also enjoyed going on walks, making stops to play lotto, and to see his sister Gussie. Leroy loved to share stories with family and friends of his childhood and his working days in the woods. Leroy was such a loving father, brother, and friend.
Leroy leaves a lifetime of love and precious memories to be cherished by his loving family: daughters: Destiny Williams-Baldwin (Cole), Blountstown, Sharon Williams, Chattahoochee, Florida, sisters: Gussie Mathews, Blountstown, Florida, Pearl Jackson (Rudolph) of Killeen, Texas, Hattie Solomon, Bristol, Florida; one brother Joe B. Williams of Blountstown, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Plinie James and Rhoda Williams, his beloved wife Julia Ivory-Williams, Harrison Williams, brother, Ella Mae Gavin, sister and Leroy Williams, Jr. son.
