SPC4 Leon Alexander, 62, of Quincy, FL, transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in Tallahassee, FL. Born in Donalsonville, GA, he later relocated to Quincy, FL, with his family. He was educated in the Gadsden County Public School District, graduating from James A. Shanks High School. Leon went on to serve honorably in the United States Army. He confessed Christ and faithfully served at the Triumphant Church of God. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Bradwell Memorial Chapel in Quincy, FL. Interment with military honors will follow at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Tallahassee National Cemetery in Tallahassee, FL. Visitation will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, FL.
Cherishing his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Estelle B. Alexander of Quincy, FL; two children, Erica L. Alexander of Gainesville, FL, and Leon L. Alexander of Quincy, FL; five siblings, Ann A. Walker of Augusta, GA, Linda A. Harris (George) of Las Vegas, NV, Brenda A. Holt of Quincy, FL, Lewis C. Alexander of Quincy, FL, and Ray A. Alexander (Phyllis) of Tallahassee, FL; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
