Leila Farlin, 90, of Quincy, FL departed this earthly life on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Capital Regional Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. Leila Farlin was born Leila Akins in Fowlstown, Ga. She was educated by the Gadsden County School System. She later met and married Curtis Farlin, Sr. (who preceded her in death). She was an active member of the Mt. Zion P.B. Church of Quincy, Fl. In addition to her religious affiliations, she was an excellent seamstress and devout quilter who designed quilts for others. Also, she loved gardening and singing.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her children; Carolyn Delaney Smith (Howard) of Quincy, FL, Curtis Farlin, Jr. of Chattahoochee, FL , Anthony V. Farlin, Sr (Tammy) of Quincy, FL, and John Farlin (Angela) of Orlando, Fl. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends to cherish her memories. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Curtis Farlin, Sr., a daughter, Gwendolyn Green, a son, Eddie L. Farlin, Sr., and a brother Eddie L. Akins.
