Kiarah Turner Obituary

Kiarah Renea Turner was born on February 9, 1992, in Twenty-Nine Palms, California, to Wesley and Angela Turner, who raised her with love, strength, and unwavering support. From an early age, Kiarah displayed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a natural ability to bring joy to everyone around her.

Kiarah was a natural leader from childhood. As a young girl, she proudly served as the unofficial leader of her girl-cousin group, organizing dance routines, singing, and styling hair and nails. That creative spirit and love for bringing people together stayed with her throughout her life.

Known for her beautiful smile, zest for life, and ability to turn ordinary moments into cherished memories, Kiarah was a true friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She attended East Gadsden High School before transferring to Florida State University School, where she graduated in 2010. She excelled academically and formed lifelong friendships at both schools.

Kiarah continued her education at Tallahassee Community College, earning her Associate of Arts degree, and later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English from The Florida State University. A hardworking and ambitious woman, she pursued a career in emergency management and, in 2019, joined the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). There, her dedication, professionalism, and compassion left a lasting impression on colleagues who quickly became close friends. She was deeply committed to her work and driven by a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kiarah was a woman of many passions. She found joy in hair, makeup, blogging, and creative expression, always eager to share her talents with those around her. Whether traveling, discovering new places to eat, or searching for the next great coffee spot, she embraced every experience with enthusiasm and love.

Above all, Kiarah Renea was devoted to her family and friends. She treasured her relationships and was a constant source of strength, laughter, and unwavering support. Her love knew no bounds, and she took great pride in being a loyal daughter, sister, godmother, and friend.

Kiarah leaves to cherish her precious memory her mother, Angela Turner; her father, Wesley Turner (Stephanie); her brothers, Wesley Turner; Christopher Turner (Tiffany McGlinchey) of Tampa, Florida; Kobe Turner; and Kieran Turner, both of Burlington, Kentucky; her sister, Makynlee Turner of Burlington, Kentucky; her grandparents, Dorothy Jean Wilson and Willie Earl Barnes; her two goddaughters, M’Caiyah Jones and Yvonne Jackson; and a host of *loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bryan Turner, and we take comfort in knowing he welcomed her with open arms. Though the pain of her loss is overwhelming, we find solace in the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her spirit will live on through every shared story, every echo of laughter, and every act of love inspired by her example.
