Keith Dowdell, 63, of Quincy, Florida, transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, April 3, 2026, in Quincy, Florida. He was a dedicated educator and community servant and a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, Florida. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at West Gadsden Middle School in Quincy, Florida. Committal services with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Tallahassee National Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory three children: Reshad McGriff of Havana, Florida; Tyra D. Campbell and Derrion Dowdell, both of Quincy, Florida; three brothers: Garrett Dowdell, Eddie Dowdell, and Freddie Dowdell; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
