Katherine Taylor Henderson, 77, of St. Petersburg, Florida departed this earthly life Monday, August 30, 2021 in St. Petersburg. A native of Quincy, Florida, she had lived in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, for many years. Katherine had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off her back to help others. She had an open door policy for the neighborhood kids that needed a place to sleep and a hot meal. Services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Steward Temple AME Church, Quincy, Florida. Bradwell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving family includes her husband, Abbott Henderson, St. Petersburg, FL; sons, Thomas Taylor, Ronald Hinson (Brandy), and Aldron Hinson (Pamela), all of St. Petersburg; daughters, Vickie Taylor, Victoria Taylor, Vanessa Hinson Marrow ( Daymonn), and Arica Henderson, all of St. Petersburg, FL; brothers Richard Taylor (Patricia), Quincy, FL, James Taylor, Dominican Republic, and Michael Taylor, Orlando, FL; sisters, Dorothy Taylor, Buffalo, NY, Betty Taylor-Woods, Ocala, FL, Gloria Taylor Davis, Ocala, FL, and Elizabeth Boone, Newark, NJ; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
