Josephine Robinson was the daughter of Curtis George Robinson and Bobbie Mae Robinson. She was born in Cairo, Georgia on October 6, 1949 and attended school at Northside High in Havana, Florida. She later attended Thomas Area Technical School and received her diploma and license in practical nursing in 1971.
Josephine was a devoted servant of Jehovah and a cherished member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She dedicated her life to spiritual pursuits and took great joy in sharing the good news of God’s Kingdom with others. Her ministry was not just a part of her routine—it was her passion. She was known for her warm smile, kind spirit, and gentle yet confident way of speaking about her faith.
Baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on October 19, 1975, Josephine remained steadfast in her devotion throughout her life. She found deep fulfillment in her ministry work, often expressing how grateful she was to be part of a global association united in purpose and love. Whether engaging in door-to-door ministry, letter writing, or phone witnessing, she did so with sincerity and compassion.
She will be remembered not only for her faith, but also for the kindness, wisdom, and encouragement she offered to those around her. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched through her words and example.
Josephine leaves to cherish her memories: three children, Johnny Lee Young, Jr., Michael Angela Young and; a daughter Tina Rene Young (deceased); two grandchildren, Mikalah Onicia Young and Jordan Seni Young; one sister, Bobbie Jean Thomas (deceased); five brothers, Curtis Eujean Robinson (deceased), Bobby Weston (deceased), Lawrence Robinson, Joseph Robinson, and Larry Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Her hope in the resurrection, based on the promises found in the Scriptures (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4), was a source of strength throughout her life and remains a comfort to those she leaves behind. She ran the race faithfully and is now resting in Jehovah’s memory, awaiting the day when all things will be made new.
