Johnny Clark McClain was born on March 19, 1951 in Elba, Al. to the late Lloyd McClain and Bobbie Lee Hornsby McClain.
As a young boy, the family relocated to Quincy, Fl. where he grew up. At an early age, he relocated to Hollywood, Fl. and graduated from Hollywood Hills High School. He held steady employment after high school. While in South Florida, he had his only child, Sherita McClain-Lindo in 1980. Johnny traveled between Hollywood, Lake Wales, and Quincy. He eventually went back to Quincy, Florida to stay.
Early in the morning on July 16, 2021, the Lord reached down and picked another rose from his Garden.
