Jeffery Jerome Williams was born on July 20, 1970 to the late Allen Williams, Jr. and Bertha
Lee Ferguson of Gretna, Florida. The youngest of his siblings, Jeffery was preceded in death
by his eldest sister Patricia Robertson, older brother Ivory Lee Williams, and his nephew
Demarcus Williams. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in Quincy, Florida
and took his final rest in his desired place.
Jeffery or “Jeff” as affectionately known to his friends and family received his education in
the public schools of Gadsden County. He loved his parents, music, cars, repairing things, and
spending time with his grandkids.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Jeff was always up to
completing any task and didn’t mind giving his opinion on how to handle it, even if he
couldn’t.
He leaves behind to cherish memories of his fond filled laughter and light. His loving wife,
Mrs. Kathy Williams of Quincy, Florida; daughters, Jamicia Williams of Tallahassee, Florida
and Tamekia Yates of Tallahassee, Florida; son, Jeffery Williams, Jr. of Quincy, Florida;
grandchildren, Cayden and Jordyn Rosier of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters, Florence Williams of
Orlando, Florida, and Delores Williams Long (Willie) of Gretna, Florida; brothers, Willie
Williams (Atheria) of Quincy, Florida, and Leonard Williams of Gretna, Florida; father and
mother-in-law, Leroy and Hattie Kilpatrick of Tallahassee, Florida; sister-in-law, Sonja Laster
(Willie) of Lake Park, Georgia; brothers-in-law, Derryl Brown of Tallahassee, FL, and Eric
Brown of Valdosta, Georgia; nephews, Warren, Bobby, Derrick, Johnny Jr., Ivory Jr., Leonard
Jr., Keith, Kenneth, Jarius, Jamel, Justavian, and Zack; nieces, Enosha, Danella, Ebony,
Tiffany, and Chelonda; a host of great nieces, nephews, loving co-workers, friends and
classmates of James A. Shanks High School.
