Irene Kirkland

Irene Kirkland, 92, of Quincy, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in Quincy, Florida at River Chase Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Abbeville, Alabama, she was a long time resident of Gadsden County. Irene received Christ early in life, and in later years united with Bostick Temple Christian Center where she served faithfully as a Mother of the church and choir member. Mother Kirkland loved the Lord, her family, and her church family. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Carter-Parramore Academy Cafetorium (631 S Stewart Street), Quincy, with burial at Sunnyvale Cemetery. Viewing will be 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, June 25, 2021 at Bradwell Mortuary.

Survivor family includes her son, Waymon Kirkland, Quincy, FL; grandson, Lamar Kirkland (Germaine), Midway, FL; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 27 great great grandchildren.
