Brother Hue Fain, 78, of Quincy, FL, transitioned on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Quincy, FL. Born in Gadsden County, FL, Hue attended the public schools of Gadsden County, graduating from Carter-Parramore High School. He went on to work at Florida State Hospital, from which he later retired.
He confessed Christ at an early age and served faithfully at Mt. Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church, where he was a devoted member.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Tabernacle Church of Christ Written in Heaven in Gretna, FL, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, FL.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Adell Fain of Quincy, FL; his children, Gus Dasher, Starla Fain, Bernadette Baker, Carissa Jones, Titus Fain, and Nyanza Dawkins-Fain, all of Quincy, FL, Morris Fain of Akron, OH, and Gary Fain of Lorton, VA; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
