Deacon Hollie Bush, Jr. was born on February 1, 1946 in Greensboro, Florida to the late Reverend
Hollie Bush, Sr. and Ceola James Bush. He was the fourth eldest of seven children. He was
preceded in death by his parents; son, Carlos A. Bush; brothers, James Bush, Richard Bush, and
Charlie Bush; and sister, Fannie Murray.
Deacon Bush was a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church - Macon Community, where he
served on the Deacon Board and taught Sunday School until his demise.
Hollie served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne. He was the owner and operator of PC by
Design. Deacon Bush could fix anything. He was a jack of all trades. He was also the first black
supervisor for Florida Steele Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Deacon Bush entered into eternal rest on March 3, 2022.
Deacon Hollie Bush leaves to mourn his memories: daughters, Ronda Addison (Willie), Charlotte,
NC, Pamela Bush, Durham, NC, and Danielle Tucker (Lonnie), Charlotte, NC; sons, Eric Bush
(Linda), Desoto, TX and CoryBush, Columbia, SC; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Sallie Bush Carter and
Brenda Bush Mason; and uncle, Reverend Alvin Bush, Sr.
