Hester Frye Cannon, 74, of Quincy, FL, transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Tallahassee, FL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Mt. Calvary Primitive Baptist Church, Quincy, FL, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2025, at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL.

She leaves to cherish her memory seven children: Steven Cannon (Amelia) of Ocala, FL; Harry Cannon, Jr. (Stephanie), Demond Cannon, Andre Cannon, Christina Cannon, Shirell Cannon, and Shirron Cannon, all of Quincy, FL; two stepchildren: Harronice Cannon and Donna Cannon, both of Quincy, FL; 14 siblings: James Frye of Quincy, FL; Freddie Watson of Quincy, FL; Leroy Frye (Emma) of Tennessee; Devester Chavers of Bainbridge, GA; Carlus Chavers of Bainbridge, GA; Eugene Chavers of Bainbridge, GA; Catherine Charleston (Oscar) of Quincy, FL; Lisa Chavers (Jeremiah) of Quincy, FL; Emma Byrd of Quincy, FL; Lula Byrd of Quincy, FL; Perry Sparkman (Gregory) of Bainbridge, GA; Annie Marshall of Bainbridge, GA; Elzie Kendrick of Bainbridge, GA; and Polly Foster of Bainbridge, GA; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
