Henry Monroe, Sr., 64, of Quincy, FL, transitioned from this life on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Quincy, FL. A proud graduate of James A. Shanks High School, he was educated in the Gadsden County Public Schools and worked as a skilled mechanic.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Bradwell Memorial Chapel, Quincy, FL. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL.
He leaves to cherish his memory two devoted children, Henry Monroe, Jr. of Quincy, FL, and Carmesha Monroe of Gretna, FL; ten siblings: Joserine Williams, Vernestean Leftwich, Catherine Monroe, Tawana Monroe, William Monroe, and George Monroe, all of Quincy, FL, Thomasita Palmer of Orlando, FL, Rev. Eugene Monroe of Fort Pierce, FL, Rev. Charles Youmans of Ocala, FL, and Randy Monroe of Abilene, TX; seven grandchildren: Xavien Monroe, Zariyah Monroe, Tykerria Monroe, Haylee Monroe, Ke’Miley Ludlow, Ke’Mario Ludlow, and Carrington Lewis; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
