Gwendolyn L. Henderson, 67, of Quincy, Florida, transitioned on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in Tallahassee, Florida. A native of Quincy, she was a devoted member of St. Matthew Primitive Baptist Church in Quincy, Florida. She was educated in the public schools of Gadsden County and was a proud graduate of James A. Shanks High School.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at St. Matthew Primitive Baptist Church in Quincy, Florida, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, Florida.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: April Jackson (Carlos) and Victoria Fountain (Darrell), both of Midway, Florida; seven siblings: Lillie Hampton of Tallahassee, Florida; Victor Davis, Irene Donald, Lorenza Ellison (Ruby), Gregory Ellison, Sr. (Cheryl), Audrey Johnson (Gregory), and Tanya Ellison, all of Quincy, Florida; three grandchildren: Delvin Williams, Jr., John Underhill, and Kyron Jackson, all of Midway, Florida; a devoted friend, Christopher Williams of Quincy, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.
