Frederick Shorter, a beloved resident of Greensboro, Florida, peacefully transitioned from this life on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in Marianna, Florida. Known for his joyful spirit, Frederick brought happiness and laughter to all who knew him. He especially enjoyed listening to music and dancing—simple pleasures that reflected his love for life and his vibrant personality.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Bradwell Memorial Chapel in Quincy, Florida. He will be laid to rest at Bradwell Community Cemetery in Greensboro, Florida. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy.

Frederick leaves to cherish his memory two devoted sisters, Millie Moore (William) and Glenda Britt (Donald), both of Greensboro; one loving brother, Willie Shorter (Helen), also of Greensboro; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever remember his kind heart and infectious smile.
