Fred Lanier, 87, of Gretna, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Quincy, FL.
Born in the Douglas City community, he attended the public schools of Gadsden County and made
his home in Gretna. Fred was a jack of all trades with fixing cars and carpentry being his specialty.
Professionally, he worked with Riverside Food Mart in Chattahoochee for many years. He enjoyed
watching westerns and spending time with his family. Services will be 11:00 am, Saturday,
November 13, 2021 at St Paul PB Church Cemetery, Gretna. Viewing will be 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm,
Friday, November 12, 2021 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy.

Surviving family includes his sons, Alvin Lanier (Glory), Anniston, AL, Milton Lanier, Sr. (Mary),
Anthony Lanier, Ronnie Lanier, Sr., and Zander Lanier, Jr., all of Gretna FL.; seven grandchildren
Valerie, Veronica, Victoria, Milton Jr., Tron, Ronnie Jr., and Monisha.
