Ethel L. Bell, 76, of Gretna, FL, transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in Tallahassee, FL. Born in Gadsden County, Ethel was educated in the Gadsden County Public School System and graduated from Carter-Parramore High School in 1967. She retired from the FAMU Credit Union, where she faithfully served as a Loan Officer.
At an early age, she confessed Christ and remained a faithful member of Zion Hope P.B. Church. She enjoyed singing, sewing, and working crossword puzzles.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Greater St. Paul P.B. Church in Gretna, FL, with burial in the Greater St. Paul P.B. Church Cemetery in Gretna, FL. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, FL.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children: Anthony Tribue (Carol) of Midway, FL; Reginald T. Bell (Ebony) of Quincy, FL; Alvin L. Bell of Gretna, FL; and Alvina L. Bell of Quincy, FL; two grandchildren: Aniya Simone Tribue of Tallahassee, FL and Tyson William Bell of Quincy, FL; three sisters: Lonnie Bell-Wheeler of Quincy, FL, Barbara Bell-Baker of Gretna, FL, and Alice Bell-Horne of Gretna, FL; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
