Elouise Williams (87) was born to the late Dandy and Lossie Williams in Greensboro, Florida on June 13, 1938.
Elouise confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Throughout most of her childhood and early adult years, she faithfully attended and served at Salem A.M.E. Church in Greensboro, Florida.
Elouise received her education through the Gadsden County Public School System and graduated in 1956 from Carter-Parramore. She later continued her studies at Lewis M. Lively and earned a certificate in Early Childhood. She went on to work as a Home Health Aide and a Certified Nursing Assistant. She also served as a Direct Care Worker at the Gadsden County Senior Citizens Center to provide for her family until she chose to retire.
Her hobbies included dancing, fishing, gardening, and traveling.
Her wisdom was always shared with family members, offering valuable insight whenever the family tree was being researched or discussed.
With a loving heart and a weakened body, she transitioned to eternal rest on Monday, December 8, 2025. God took the last breath from her body and called her home to be with the Lord for everlasting peace. She is preceded in death by her parents; six (6) siblings: Carl Williams, Eddie Williams, Annie Lee Peterson, Marion Smith, Loretta Roberts, and Dorothy Williams; and two (2) children, Michael and Louise Williams.
To cherish her legacy, she leaves one (1) son, Ronnie Smith of Quincy, FL and four (4) daughters: Shirley March (Bernard) of Mt. Pleasant, FL; Sandra Yon of Quincy, FL; Toreno Miller (Marvin) of Mt. Pleasant, FL; and Shaunta Yon of Quincy, FL. She also leaves two (2) siblings: Paula Palmer (Sam) of Quincy, FL and Annell Blair of Gretna, FL. Additionally, she leaves twelve (12) grandchildren: Jarvis March, Reshaunna Austin, Juanita Smith Uche, Roderqua March, Jasmine Grimes, Jemarious Higdon, Jameccia Grimes, Dr. Keyana Miller, Tanaysia Higdon, Shanicie Smith, Shakara Caldwell, and Nicholas Caldwell; eleven (11) great-grandchildren; one (1) great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends; and lastly, her devoted special friend (“boo-thang”) of 39 years, Shelly C.
