Ella Mae Bell, age 80, of Quincy, Florida, transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in her hometown of Quincy.
A woman of unwavering faith, Ella Mae confessed Christ at an early age and remained a devoted member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church throughout her life. She served faithfully in the church choir, lifting her voice in praise and bringing joy to those around her. Known for her infectious laughter and love for fishing, Ella Mae found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Above all, she was a loving and protective mother who worked hard to ensure her children were nurtured, supported, and well cared for.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Bradwell Memorial Chapel in Quincy, Florida.
Ella Mae leaves behind her cherished son, Roger Leon Bell of Wellington, FL; two devoted brothers, Dennis Banks of Quincy, FL and Willie Banks of Portland, OR; three beloved grandchildren, Ricardo Moore of Tallahassee, FL, Trevor Leon Bell and Jasmine Destiny Nicole Bell, both of Wellington, FL; and her loving daughter-in-law, Lisa Donna Marie Bell of Wellington, FL.
