Deacon Mitchell Williams, Sr., 67, of Gretna, FL departed this earthly life on January 11, 2023 in Tallahassee, FL.
He was an active member of the St. Stephens PB Church of Gretna, Fl. Deacon Williams was educated in the Gadsden County School System. He graduated with the James A. Shanks High School Class of 1974. He was a former food service manager with Gadsden County Schools.
Funeral Services will be 11am, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at St. Stephens P.B. Church, Gretna, FL with burial at Sunnyvale Cemetery, Quincy, FL. Visitation will be 3pm to 7pm, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL.
He leaves to cherish his memories; a loving wife, Diane Williams of Quincy, FL; two children, Keysha Renee Williams and Mitchell Williams, Jr. (Jessica) both of Tallahassee, FL; six siblings, Barbara Presley of Fairburn, GA, Tony Mitchell (Kathryn) of Quincy, FL , Pernell Mitchell (Ruby) of Leesburg, FL, Robert Mitchell of Quincy, FL, Eddie Williams of Gretna, FL, and Linda Jefferson of Tallahassee, FL; three grandchildren, Layla Evans, Nijaya Williams, and Nathaniel Robinson all of Tallahassee, FL; one great grandson, Kyson Lindsey of Midway, FL, and a host of other relatives and friends.
