Darius S. Johnson, 31, of Quincy, FL departed this earthly life Sunday, January 21, 2024 in Midway FL. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Greater St. Paul P.B. Church, Gretna, FL with burial at the National Cemetery, Tallahassee, FL. Visitation will be 3pm - 6pm Friday, February 2, 2024 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL. 

Darius confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of the St. Mark M.B. Church of Shiloh, FL. He was educated in the Gadsden County Public Schools graduating from East Gadsden High School. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the Army and later furthered his studies at Florida A&M University. He will be remembered as outgoing, the life of the party, and being an intellectual. 

He is survived by his mother - Jennie Brown (Marion) of Quincy, FL; father - Rocky Johnson of Quincy, FL ; a brother - Faronte Peterson (Shayla) of Quincy, FL; niece - Kassidy Peterson of Quincy, FL; four special cousins - Shenika Broxsie of Crawfordville, FL, Ashley Moore, Ericka Kelley, and Ieshia Lockwood  (all of Quincy, FL); god-parents- Clarence Davis, Sr. and Shalonda & Robert Nixon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
