Cynthia Morris Brown the daughter of Joseph and Alice Morris was born January 24, 1954 in Jersey City, New Jersey. In 1986 she relocated to Quincy, Florida. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Second Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church.
Cynthia was a 1972 graduate of Synder High School in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was joined in Holy Matrimony in 1972 to Henry Clay Brown and to this union thirteen (13) children were born.
Cynthia was a dedicated employee at Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, Florida until she retired. She loved spending quality time with her husband, going to BINGO, and having family gatherings with her children and grandchildren. She also loved to sit on the porch in Green Acres with her favorite uncle (Ben Green).
Cynthia leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and devoted husband Henry Clay Brown; six daughters, Chelisa Brown (Emanuel), Yolanda Morris (Will), Tyesha Bradwell (Tony), Nykiea Butler (Tarrey), Denise Brown (Terrance), and Krystal McMillon (Marquis); six sons, Dexter Morris, John Morris (Lesley), Donnell Brown (Tomeka), Dontay Brown (Tasha), Dontavis Brown (Danielle) and Lanzio Brown (Teria); two sisters, Gwendolyn Clark (Tony) and Phyllis Woods (Tony); one brother, Alfred Morris; one sister-in-law, Shirley Brown; 37 grandkids, 16 great grands; devoted cousin, Cheryl Ann Shaw; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Alice Morris, Mike Usry; one son Jamal Morris; two grandkids Dexter Morris, Jr., and Donnell Brown, Jr.
