Cora Louise Moten, 77, of Gretna, Florida departed this life Monday, July 5, 2021 in Tallahassee,
Florida at Big Bend Hospice House with her daughters at her bedside. She was a member of Mt
Olive Free Will Baptist Church, Quincy. She retired from Florida State Hospital after 35 years of
service. Cora, aka “sweet”, was a very well-known and loved person. Services will be 11:00 am,
Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy. Viewing will be Friday, July 9, 2021 from
3-7 pm at Bradwell Mortuary.
Surviving family includes Cora’s husband, James Moten, Chattachoochee, FL; daughters, Lisa
McCalister (Pastor Joseph), Marianna, FL and Cathy Wells, Quincy, FL; son, Anthony Moten
(Tekela), Chattahoochee, FL; devoted grandson, Ronterrious Dudley, Tallahassee, FL, and brother,
Herman Jackson, Chattahoochee, FL.
