Clarence Bynes, Jr., 69, of Quincy, FL, transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, December 15, 2024, in Quincy, FL, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Clarence was educated in the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools and graduated from Sol C. Johnson High School. Following graduation, he honorably served in the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Merchant Marines.
Clarence was a devoted husband, father, and friend, whose loving spirit and warm heart touched the lives of many. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Bradwell Memorial Chapel in Quincy, FL.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Brenda Vanessa Bynes of Quincy, FL; four loving daughters: Melissa M. Nathan of Orlando, FL, Melinda M. Baker of Atlanta, GA, Dee Dee Bynes of Quincy, FL, and Penelope Cruz of Quincy, FL; and three cherished grandchildren: Brendan Nathan of Orlando, FL, and Konor Baker and Kalyse Etienne, both of Atlanta, GA.
Clarence’s life was enriched by a host of other beloved relatives and cherished friends, all of whom will carry his memory forward. His legacy of love, kindness, and service will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
