Charles Robinson, 67, of Quincy, FL, transitioned on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Tallahassee, FL. Born in Quincy, FL, he was educated in the Gadsden County Public School System and was a proud member of the Class of 1976 at James A. Shanks High School. He was a devoted member of Mt. Hosea M.B. Church.
Charles was employed with BASF as a Calcinar Operator. He had a deep love for FSU football and was known as a devoted father, son, brother, and a best friend to many. After an eight-year battle with cancer, he fought courageously and with strength. He will always be remembered as a strong, funny, and caring man of God.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Mt. Hosea M.B. Church, with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving daughter, Chandra Meschelle Robinson of Tallahassee, FL; his loving and caring mother, Sarah Green Smith of Quincy, FL; four siblings: Carolyn Smith (Joe), Rhonda Jackson (Willie), and Cora Cannon, all of Quincy, FL, and Willie Robinson of Tampa, FL; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
