Charity Jones Marlowe

Charity Jones Marlowe, age 84, of Quincy, Florida, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at her home in Quincy, Florida.

Mrs. Marlowe was born on February 6, 1942. She was a faithful member of St. Matthew M.B. Church of Sycamore.

Throughout her life, Mrs. Marlowe worked as a seamstress and a school bus driver. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening and fishing. She had a remarkable talent for sewing and could fix almost anything. She also had a deep love for cooking and was known for preparing delicious meals for her family and loved ones.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Ruben Marlowe Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida; Debra Ann Faison of Quincy, Florida; Angela Lasherrell Moneyham of Quincy, Florida; Ann Renee Marlowe of Quincy, Florida; Robbie Lynette Wilson of Tyrone, Georgia; Patura Michelle Frye of Havana, Florida; and Stephanie Marlowe-Gurley of Quincy, Florida.

Mrs. Marlowe was also blessed with 17 grandchildren, along with a host of extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Brooks Cemetery in Quincy, Florida, with a viewing at 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery.
