Bobby Evans was born on November 9, 1947 to the late Monroe and Arletha Evans. He departed this life on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash. He was converted at an early age and attended China Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
He attended public schools in Gadsden County, Florida. He worked in construction and later worked handling horses, where he became well-known for training horses. Bob loved people and helping others.
Bob leaves to cherish his memories: 2 brothers, Otis Evans (Cyndi) and Arthur Evans (Voncil) of Tallahassee, FL; 4 sisters, Doris Enzor (Lee) and Barbara Evans of Havana, FL, Carolyn Harris (Bobby) of Atlanta, GA, and Gloria Mickens (Ronnie) of Lakeland, FL; Godsister, Joyce Jackson of Havana, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Evans; parents, Monroe and Arletha Evans, Sr.; five brothers, Monroe Evans, Jr., Jimmy Evans, Charles Evans, Willie Evans, Henry Douglas Evans; and sister, Shirley Evans Williams.
