Beverly Jean Baker Holmes, 83, of Blountstown, FL transitioned from labor to reward Monday, October 9, 2023 peacefully at her home. She was an active member at the St. Paul AME Church of Blountstown and loved going to the Calhoun County Senior Citizens Center. 

Funeral Services will be 11:00am CST, Saturday, October 21, 2023 at St. Paul AME Church, Blountstown, FL with burial at St. Rose Sunset Gardens, Grand Ridge, FL. Viewing will be 3pm - 7pm EST, Friday, October 20, 2023 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL. 

She leaves to cherish her memory three loving children, Karen Anita Holmes Engram of Chattahoochee, FL, Von T. Holmes of Wewahitchka, FL and Hamilton Thomas of Blountstown, FL; six siblings, Lottie Durrick of Pennsylvania, Margie Moore (Arthur), Shirley Walker (Ernest), Wade Longmire (Veronica), Samuel Longmire and Carol Longmire Harris all of Pensacola, FL; four godchildren, Jerry Hogans, Kendrick Love, Sr., Taneka Copeland and Dyneisha Simpson; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
