Ms. Bessie Delores Russell McSwain of Quincy, FL departed this earthly life on August 5, 2022 in Dothan, Alabama. Born in Quincy, FL, Bessie was a graduate of the James A. Shanks High School Class of 1972. Later she relocated to Los Angeles, CA wherein she was employed with United Airlines. She was religiously affiliated with the Church of the Golden Rule. 

Services will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, FL with burial at the Mt. Calvary PB Church in Quincy, FL. Visitation will be 3pm to 7pm, Monday, August 15, 2022 at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: a daughter, Cathy Yvette McSwain of Tallahassee, FL, step-sons, James R. McSwain and Renard Lopez, both of Miami, FL; two sisters, Frankie Nelson and Annie Bush, both of Quincy, FL; an aunt, Hardwick Wallace of Quincy, FL; an uncle, Albert Byrd of Quincy, FL; 9 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
