Arthur Lee Thomas, 89, of Quincy, Florida, departed this earthly life, Saturday, May 29, 2021 in
Tallahassee at Capital Regional Medical Center. A native of Gadsden County, he was a member of
St. John AME Church, Quincy. He retired from Floridin Mine, and was a member of the
Emancipated American Lodge #6. Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at
St John AME Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, June 11, 2021 at
Bradwell Mortuary.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Thomas, Quincy, FL; daughters; Cora T. Spencer, Quincy, FL, Tina
Thomas, Quincy, FL, and Janice T. Johnson, Quincy, FL; sons, Leon Thomas, Quincy, FL, Freddie
Thomas, Tallahassee, FL, and Clarence Thomas, Jacksonville, FL; sister Barbara T. Jones,
Washington, DC; brother Tom Thomas, Detroit, Michigan; step daughters, Tracy Anthony and
Shakelia Barnes; and sisters-in-law, Emma Gray, Corine Clark, and Jessie Ward. Bradwell Mortuary
is in charge of arrangements.
