Annie Mae Howard-Walker, 74, of Quincy, FL, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, in Tallahassee, FL. Born in Stapleton, GA, she later relocated to Havana, FL. She held multiple certificates in Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Retail Management, and her career spanned roles in Retail Management, Accounting, as a Bus Driver, and as a Senior Motorist Operator. Annie, affectionately known as "Ms. Skip," was passionate about fishing, cooking, sewing, and upholstery. She was known for her generous spirit, never turning away anyone in need of food, medical assistance, or even a drink of water.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Bradwell Memorial Chapel in Quincy, FL. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM the same day at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL.
She leaves to cherish her memory three children: Felecia (Bobby Jr.) Clemons of Virginia Beach, VA, Luster Alexander Walker of Berlin, Germany, and LaTasha (William) Maxwell of Havana, FL; her ex-husband, Luster Walker of Crestview, FL; eight siblings: Arthur (Christine) Howard of Melbourne, FL, Jackie (Lucy) McGriff of Columbus, GA, Carl (Bobbie) Robinson of Havana, FL, Geraldine (Willie) Witherspoon of Havana, FL, Jerry (Betty) McGriff of Tallahassee, FL, Eddie (Debra) Howard of Quincy, FL, Eugene (Melissa) McGriff of Tallahassee, FL, and Emma (Jerome) McGriff-Williams of Morlautern, Germany; an uncle, James (Inez) Gardner of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
